Date: 02/23/18 Q: Spamalot Pax: Sourmash, Schneider, Sassy, Harden, Beast-Lite, 1040EZ, Tuco, Fingers, Ramses, Spamalot After some decent marketing efforts and EHing, YHC fell asleep hopeful that this mornings edition of BBBC would be adequate. Also was hoping for at least one of the East side Pax to make an appearance. And as YHC…
Come join the fastest (growing) Friday running group in the DashPax. We will visit some familiar area, hopefully not in the same direction as before. Launching point: Ortho-Carolina at corner of Peacehaven and Lewisville/Clemmons Road. TBT: R onto Lewisville/Clemmons R onto Linwood Drive R onto Boyer Drive R onto Knob Hill Drive R onto…
Q: Spamalot Pax: Schneider, Shake n Bake, Spamalot Perhaps it was the pre-blast warning of fun with cinder blocks that kept the masses away from The Distillery this morning. Per Twitter, several regulars had responsibilities with 2.0s that kept them away. Nevertheless, the show must go on. As YHC pulled into the parking lot,…
Pax: Sourmash, Schneider, DQ, Sassy, Harden, Ramses, Spamalot, Road Apple (EC) After the debacle of last week (thanks Geppetto) and playing frogger on Lewisville Clemmons Road, time to get back to our roots. Fresh off the exciting news that #OH4TB had been officially accepted for the 2018 Bourbon Chase, several of us thought…
As YHC drove down Polo Road, nearing the AO, YHC noticed several runners. Was happy to see that they were wearing the appropriate safety gear. Pulling into the parking lot, YHC was overwhelmed by the shear number of PAX. And lo and behold, the runners soon joined us. None other than Rustbucket, Toetag, Hedwig, and…
Tclaps to everyone involved in restoring our beloved (ahem) website. YHC is looking at you Van Gough!!! #HIM
A warmer than expected morning welcomed the six other Pax who were kind enough to accompany YHC. Not only was it my first Q at this AO, it was my first post as well. Drano arrived early, and after some vigorous warmups, off he went for a little 10 minute EC run. As 630 drew…
Being born on November 6 is only occasionally associated with anything memorable. Every four years, YHC has the possibility of having a birthday on an election day. Sally Field also shares this day with YHC. And today, YHC discovered that Balco was also born on November 6th. Rare company indeed. As the Pax gathered on…
After nearly a month of hard core marketing, the day had finally arrived. Hockey was returning to Winston-Salem. 10 Pax (please let YHC know if any were missed) presented themselves along with numerous 2.0s and even one brave M! After some light refreshments in the parking lot, we proceeded into the Annex. As a side…
A beautiful full moon greated the 3 Pax who ventured out for this week’s installment of the best running AO in town. At the appointed hour, Sourmash was MIA. Oh well, his loss. Route was simple, turn right out of the OrthoCarolina parking lot (corner of Peacehaven and Lewisville-Clemmons Road) and run along Lewisville-Clemmons…
Colder temps this morning brought out the long pants from the bottom of the drawer. They also brought out 9 other PAX, including a FNG. Disclaimer given, and it was time to start working. Warm-o-Rama SSH, Whirly has the clap, Merkins, arm swirly things forward. All IC all x 15. Enough upperbody work. The…
Fresh off The Bourbon Chase this past weekend, YHC was ready to get after it this morning. So were the Pax, and the results speak for themselves. At the magical hour of 5:30, seven other Pax were ready. Off we went. Warm-o-Rama Mosey around the perimeter of the parking lot, past rock pile, past…
