Don’t inquire about a beat down happening if you are in question, unless you are ready to Q it. Especially tough when your Site Q doesn’t even show up for your last minute Q – his absence brought back many bad memories for me from being stood up at my high school prom. Years of…
Well, well, well, YHC learned the musical selection is a key driver of enjoyment (or lack) at Bells & Whistles. Full 45 minutes of MC about music quality. #philcollinsisawesome #prommusic #let’sslowitdown #haveyouheardofSpotify #canwemoseytogetawayfrommusic and so on, and on, and on… May consider something other than Pandora for next Q, maybe not. Q doesn’t really have…
Reluctantly YHC agreed to the Q invitation reminder from JB on Sunday afternoon. In full discloure, several weeks ago JB asked YHC if I woudl Q an upcoming RnG. I said sure… just sometime after BRR maybe in late September. Well, 9/11 ain’t late September and its barely after BRR… but I knew I couldn’t…
This Saturday, two classic college football teams will meet for only the second time in their storied histories. The Georgia Bulldogs will invade South Bend to take on Notre Dame. To get the pax prepared, YHC wanted to give a little history lesson from the last time they met, Jan 1, 1981. UGA won 17-10….
13 Pax enjoyed a relaxing workout at Reagan High with (some) Bells and some running. The Q brought tunes, and @Goofy brought the speaker, so we jammed out and worked a little, like this. Three exercises for 45 seconds each with 15 second rests, then run — the runs were in slightly different lengths ranging…
Juicebox originally had YHC scheduled for last week’s RNG, but Mutton decided to “snatch” the RNG duties away and lead last week’s Q…which ended working out perfectly for YHC’s schedule (it’s all about me anyway). So, with a fresh new week, and some fresh new cool temps, YHC decided to centralize the location in hopes…
YHC failed to assign a Q for 8/24 running of #WIB …@Thistle was kind enough to remind YHC of this fact via Twitter…so, with a guilty soul YHC took it upon himself to head up this week’s running of the famed #DashWIB. Bailey Park (WS’s wonderful new outdoor gathering space) offered a convenient AO for…
The Pax of 8 came out to B&W to face a beat down full of tabata and Christian 80s rock, specifically, the awesome group Petra. Believe it or not, YHC, a cross between generation X and millennial, is a fan of Petra. YHC, not being a regular at B&W, needed a little help borrowing a…
In order to appease & hopefully attract a few of the BRR diehards, YHC stole a page from Resistor’s playbook. The Q considers this the ultimate compliment, although never having had one of his own workouts “stolen”, so to speak. As advertised throughout the week, tomorrow’s WIB will be BRR friendly. In other words, the…
8 strong PAX visited the friendly confines of Reagan High for another installment of Bells & Whistles. Warm-o-Rama: SSH, IST, The Whirly, Sun Gods Forward & Reverse, Mosey to other end of the parking lot and back. The Thang: The PAX lined up facing the length of the parking lot with the idea being for…
