Mosey down to the old ballpark for some fun…
DID YOU KNOW… there are exactly 108 double stitches on a baseball?? It’s true! We partnered up and split 108 of the following, one Pax ran the lot, the other got to it:
Merkins
Rocky Balboas
Overhead claps
Squats
Since it’s a double stitch, we repeat-o. Think of it as a double header of pain.
Extra innings:
Pax bear crawled (or as Van Gogh pointed out, Cub crawled, Bears are a football team) up the hill, did a diamond merkin, trotted down, did two diamond merkins, repeat till we hit 9.
Mosey back for quick Mary of LBCing and mutton crunching.
Ballgame!
Mumblechatter: happy to hear some clearly unhappy Pax. Great effort from everyone, especially from Geppetto and Toe Tag who apparently lost their map on their 8-mile extra-credit run but still jumped in around the 3rd inning.
COT:
Smeadfest and convergence on Saturday. One big 90-minute beatdown at Hanes Park at 7, refreshments after, sounds like coffeeteria before at 6. Watch website, Twitter, Slack, MySpace and my Geocities page from 1998 for more info.
Prayers and positive thoughts for kids, families, and teachers going back to school and Burlap’s family, services for his step-father-in-law/grandfather to Burlap’s kids are today at First Pres.
YHC took us out giving thanks for fellowship, improvement and keeping our eyes open for new ways to improve and use those improved skills.
Some great post-COT parking-lot talk about expansion and diversity in F3 afterward. Let’s keep that alive.
Second Q for YHC, honored to have been invited. My first F3 workout was June 2nd– as Bananarama sang on the Karate Kid soundtrack, it’s been a cruel summer. It does not get easier, but I’m slowly getting better. Big thanks to everyone who has made this possible.

Ahh the simplicity of a miserable beatdown. So easy to write up and so challenging to execute. Well done Wobegon!
Good times all around with great folk. YHC is still hoping to be as strong as Root Canal when I grow up.

Nice job, Wobegon! Thanks for stepping up and Qing. Sorry I missed this, but BRR training is in full swing. Hope to be back out soon.
