Having just celebrated YHC’s one-year anniversary with the #DashPax, another one was soon on the horizon.
On December 8, 2016, YHC had his VQ. The AO was #TRQ, and the late, great Gordie Howe was involved. In the ensuring months, YHC Q’d a wide-range of beatdowns: in a total down-pour (VI), in single digit temperatures (9 degrees at the Outhouse), an exclusive, members-only garage workout (Urban Assault), even one that turned out to be almost all running, with burpees (Mayhem).
YHC has been fortunate enough to Q at a wide-range of AOs: TRQ, VI, the Distillery, IS, Purgatory, BnW, Urban Assault, Mayhem, and Parliament to name a few.
Prior to today, YHC had Q’d no less than 19 times. Thus this morning would be lucky number 20. It would also be YHCs 4th Q in 11 days. Excellent planning.
Nevertheless, undaunted by the challenge, and having recovered from getting lost while running up Pilot View, YHC was ready. And so was the PAX.
Cool temps and a light drizzle welcomed the faithful to another rendition of Parliament.

put blocks down and mosey back to front of school where there were conviently several cones with numbers on the walkway. Time for:
Suicides
Run from first cone to 4th cone. Perform exercise, return to first cone. Run to 6th cone, perform exercise, return to first cone. Exercises were:
SSHx 5, Squats x5, Merkins x 5, no exercise, and one more YHC cannot remember
Run to 6th cone….then mosey back to cinder blocks:

LBCs, Mutton Crunches, low flutters, dying cockroaches, protractor, penguin crunches, and maybe one more were performed. All x 12, all IC.

Prayer Request/Announcements
Shmedfest 2018 is right around the corner…only 360-ish days!
Prayer requests for Houston and the surrounding areas impacted by the storm. Prayers also for the first responders and “ordinary” citizens who are showing what it means to be an American and a decent human being.
Prayers for Palin’s sister as she is pregnant – positive thoughts for health for the baby and mother.
We lifted up the Workman family as they deal with the loss of their son.
We gave thanks to Sassy, who has lost 20 pounds this month! TCLAPS…of course, he cannot eat anything that tastes good, and no alcohol….Seriously, congrats!
YHC took us out on the above prayer requests, and asked that we all remember that our health is not a right, but a gift that needs to be cared and taken care of on a daily basis.
Thank you all for coming out this morning and every morning. The past year and a week has been a true blessing for YHC, and YHC cannot wait to see what the future holds. Aye!
