Last Friday’s #OGs backblast, per Plunger:

• Somewhere between 30-40 pax posted.  The names were similar to those listed above.
• They all ran between 6-6.5 miles, except for the Tractors, who ran slightly shorter
• There were hills
• Some people got lost
• Some pax said funny things.  Others complained about the route.
• Plunger promoted Shmedfest

Plunger was a bit pre-occupied last weekend (raising somewhere north of 40,000 dollars for Crisis Control Ministries), so we’ll forgive him for not getting a backblast out.

As for this week, a pax of 33 all woke up between 4:30 and 5:00 expecting to hear the pitter-patter of raindrops against their windows.  To the surprise of most, a night of rain gave way to a morning of not much more than a little mist.  So, the pax traded a rainy run for a humid run.  Personally, YHC would prefer the former.  Some guys are running a race next week so they dialed back their usual pace just a bit as they look ahead to their taper.  This is what we did.

Two weeks of having Plunger in a row….feels like all is right with the world again

Burlap is leading the charge on the #FNGCHallenge.  He made the off-handed remark that he would buy a drink for any guy that could EH more FNG’s than Toe Tag (aka, the Rush Chairman).  YHC not sure how much Toe Tag has left in his EH’ing rolodex.  He has already brought out everyone he knows and is now likely to start recruiting his patients.

Mockingbird had his knee scoped yesterday and it sounds like things went as well as it could.  Look forward to getting him back out there.
