First Day of Fall

A large group of dash-pax converged at Hanes Park to launch on a nifty jaunt through Buena Vista on the first day of fall. Resistor had some nice rolling hills to keep the dash-pax happy. See the links below to view the OG & Tractor’s Routes

- The 5:15 OG launch group is always a source of encouragement and have some of the broadest convos. Today there were various comments about Resistor’s gear, will see if any of them make it into the comments. Quite a group to run with and Juicebox is always prepared with route cards for those friends that forget to look at the route.
- As a few of us passed Burlap and Cheerio on Warwick Cheerio reminded Burlap to keep the governor on and not be sucked in by the other guys passing…Burlap’s response was “I’m running for myself”—
- Nothing like a busy Robinhood Road to help any runner pick up their pace
- Buena Vista sure was a pleasant beast in the gloom………..NOT.
- Hoptoberfest loves some speed, even though he despises running. A pleasure running with him and Plunger the last couple of miles.
- Beverly and Walter White were a flash as they went by…Patch followed saying something about an 8:00 / pace —
- Hazer continued his Return Tour #kotters …..Butter was on his #Walk4Phil tour (no spotting of Starfish)
- YHC arrived back in the parking and found Wiki and a FNG waiting for the OG guys to arrive. He said the Tractors route was really short. So I said, did you run a little extra? “Nope, when I’m finished I’m finished.”
- Welcome FNG Empty Saddle who came for a run. Jeff Covington received credit for the eh, but nobody knew his F3 name. YHC searched the F3WS Roster to no avail.
- Litebrite posted the Tractors route, but was not seen on the route—any spotting?
- When will Fingers visit us again at OG’s—you could always count on some tunes.
- YHC is sure there were some other good stories that occurred while pounding the pavement in the gloom, so leave them in the comments section below.

YHC took us out grateful for the blessing of fitness, fellowship, and faith in the mornings with a bunch of gents. Remember Mocking Bird who has a long recovery ahead.
