The Thang

Mosey to field where YHC had staged 3 bricks as markers, at about 15, 30 and 45 yards (total guess)  See playlist below for musical selections of that accompanied the beatdown.

Rule of 3

• Lunges to first brick, then do 15 regular merkins, lunge to 2^nd brick, do 15 diamond merkins, lunge to 3^rd brick, do 15 wide merkins, repeat on the way back
• Bear crawl to 1^st brick, do 15 squat jumps, bear crawl to 2^nd brick to 16 side lunges (8 each leg), bear crawl to 3^rd brick do 15 calf raises, repeat back
• Mosey to 1^st brick, do 15 LBC’s, Mosey to 2^nd brick do 15 WW2s, Mosey to 3^rd brick, do 15 heels to heaven, repato back

Partner Assisted Suicides

• P1 stays back and does called exercise, P2 runs to 1^st brick and back, flap jack so P2 does called exercise and P1 runs to 1^st brick, when return, P2 runs to 2^nd brick and P1 does called exercise, repeat until each partner has sprinted to brick 3 and back.
• We did this 9 times rotating between exercises of upper body/arms, abs, and legs. The pax chose which exercise would be done

Burpee Hell

• Borrowing from Palin, who had borrowed from some coastal pax, we did a modified version of Burpees on the top of very minute. The first minute we did five, then counted by one up to 10 each minute.  You would then try to hold it at 10/min for as long as you could, and modify as necessary
• I don’t remember how many we did, but I was sick of them – both literally and figuratively.
• VG counted that he did 135 burpees, so most of the Pax prob did between 100 and 135

NMM

• All the buzz this AM was the Mutton (aka Sutton) Family Reunion – which included @Mutton, the F3patriarch, and (Kotters to) @LambChop, @SheepDip. Based on the MC, YHC would have bet we had 50 Sutton boys out there – maybe next week.
• @Starfish was in rare form and very talkative this AM (he started the Mutton Family Reunion chatter), likely happy to be back among his beloved F3WS Pax. Great to have you out as always.
• When YHC announced the Burpee routine, @Palin immediately protested mightily on the grounds that it sucked and he wished he had never introduced it. When that didn’t work, he called for royalties for its use. Told him I would I already paid him in Burpees at TRQ.  Once we hit 10 burpees, the only sound I could hear was heavy breathing (it wasn’t as weird as it sounds).  Palin is right, this sucked.

COT – YHC took us out thankful for the men around the circle that I am proud to call my friends, prayers for worries on our hearts, for those in the path of storm, and asking Him to help us be the men we calls us to be.

Announcements

• FNG Challenge – @Burlap has called a challenge for all Pax to recruit FNG’s from 9/1 to 10/31. Rumor is he is paying commissions for all new recruits. Bonus potential for finding those lost Pax and bringing them back
• Give2Give was a huge success raising $117,000 across F3Nation. Tclaps to F3WS who came in 4^th among regions, and winning above our weight class.  This will allow us to bring to other men what we have found. Tclaps also to @Starfish for his leadership.
• F3 Fall expansion is coming up in Chicago, St Louis, and in Austin TX.
• VG has IS next week, and will have a Foothills #SexualChocolate theme. Rumor is the release for this special beer is at 0800 and VG is sponsoring a beer run after the workout
