The Q likes a good beatdown inspired by the AO.  After some contemplation of breweries, local history and other ideas… YHC settled on the growth in tourism downtown with the growing hotel market.  So we did a tour of hotels, driven by the number of hotel rooms at each property.   As it turned out most of the PAX must have been sleeping in those beds as the numbers were small (5) but were might!

Mosey to the first hotel:

Fairfield by Marriott (87 rooms) partner up for the morning. Freddie Mercury – Merkin –  until first person gets to 87, then flapjack.

Indian Run to the second stop: 

Hampton (119 rooms ) – Howling Munkeys – – Circle up.  10 per person. Maybe 2 twice for good measure

and around the corner to the Pepper Building for the “REMODELING” (thank you VG for the correction):

Hotel Indigo  (75 rooms) – Hurpees and Imperial Walker – – until  Hurpee person cries uncle, flapjack. til 75 Hurpees.    Very few PAX knew we had a hotel Indigo in the works.  Also adjacent to it will also be a Hyatt Place.  But construction hasn’t started… so we didn’t include on our tour.

Just a short block away:

Kimpton Cardinal  (174 rooms) – Knerkin – Crab cakes –  – flapjack until cries uncle. Flapjack. (til 174 Crab cakes)

Indian Run again….

Marriott (315 rooms) – Mountain Climbers – Moroccan Nightclub – – switch at 25s or 50s.

oh, its across the street.  let’s just stay standing here. 

Embassy Suites Superman (145 rooms) – E2k (aka mutton crunch) – – cry uncle. Until 145 crunches

Mosey back to the 1st Pres lot.

Where was Cheerio?  oh yeah.  he bailed…as I pulled into his cool millennium apartment complex at 5:01 a.m.  Where was Cherry Pie?  no idea. must have being doing P90X in his basement.  The Vig?  Well,  as YHC retrieved his phone from the car for COT… noticed a text from The Vig at 5:32 wondering where we went.  Sorry to hide from The Vig.  But as he later said its a big AO and it proves you need to be on time!  His words not mine.
