The MEGA Cometh

Gentlemen of F3 Winston-Salem (and Cobra),
The MEGA is this Saturday, Oct 28, in Greensboro. This is the 2nd annual event that we hope is passed around the Piedmont Triad for years to come. It also commemorates the 3rd anniversary of F3 Greensboro, a region that the DashPax led in planting. So, this is a big enough deal to announce the following:
- For those going to the Mega, meet at 1st Pres parking lot south of 2nd St between Cherry and Marshall; this is the launch point of both #Flatline and #UrbanAssault. Meet time is 0600. We will leave by 0610.
- We will decide drivers and riders when we arrive at 0600.
- The Mega lasts just under 3 hours, so it will probably be about 1000 when we finish COT there. Some may go to the Coffeeteria in GSO and some may return right away. This will help you decide whether to drive/ride and with whom.
- Please bring a clothing item or two for a child. F3 GSO is trying to clothe and support a family that has just been relocated from Puerto Rico due to the storm damage.
- For those who have only an hour on Saturday morning, there is only one regularly scheduled bootcamp: #Purgatory. It meets at Speas Elementary and launches at 0700. There will be no #DawgPound and no #ImpossibleSituation for this Saturday, Oct 28.

It consists of 8 pain stations in a 3.5 mile loop. The farthest distance between stations is about 1/2 mile or a 6-7 minute jog at most. There will be periodic hydration, and an MD in the Natville Pax will assume the role of Toe Tag as doctor for the event.
This will be a great time with a lot of dudes. Our own Plunger is the Q for the 2nd pain station. Qs from Burlington and K-Vegas will handle other stations, as well as the boys from Natville.
