BBBC runs Tanglewood
QIC: Harden
Date: 11/10/2017
PAX: Sour Mash, Schneider, Wort, Fingers, Sassy, Harden
6 pax jumped out of the fartsack this morning and ventured out to Tanglewood to log some miles and enjoy some fellowship at this weeks meeting of the Big Boy Breakfast Club. This group continues to see major gains in overall fitness levels and running capabilities. Not to mention the camaraderie and accountability that has developed is something YHC looks forward to ever week – despite my feelings about the activity being completed.
Today we tackled 1 of 2 tracks:
Group #1 launched at 0500 and took on this challenging 10k track: http://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/1854051341
Group #2 launched at 0530 and got stronger using the following game plan as a guide: http://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/1853572514

- Fingers was steady and consistent as always. Thanks for looping back to check on YHC multiple times and for your encouragement. It means a lot.
- Sassy continues to get stronger – dude was working on different aspects of his running the whole distance.
- Sour Mash keeps getting after it! SM – I know this thing (BBBC) has morphed further than I think either of us ever imagined, but it has been a pleasure pushing each other every step of the way.
- Schneider – you keep pushing yourself every week, and it shows. Strong work!
- Wort – Welcome back to the club, hope to see you join us again on the regular.
- Sassy and YHC set new PR for distance today. Both ran at least a 10k for the first time. Well done, Sassy! Thanks for circling around and checking on me as well. It was a massive effort to push through this morning, but we did it!
Fingers took us out!

You took those hills and ate them for breakfast, Harden! I kept coming back to when the two of us were trying to finish the baseball Q from Whirly at UA a few months back. We barely could make it up that hill on 1st Street and then this morning we crushed hill after hill in Tanglewood. Thank you BBBCers for the push and the accountability.
