Gonna Be A Good Day For Tractors and OGs

You know it’s gonna be a good day when you start you day in the gloom with your brothers. Manscape (WD), Hedwig (WB), Beverly, Walter White, Mongoose, Winkelvoss, Red Eye, Juice Box, Pita, Balco, Bueller, Van Pelt, Greenspan, Ear Wax, Zuckerberg, Wiki, Peacemaker, Sac joined YHC and had a good day on one of the routes.  The routes had the same starting and ending segments with a couple of extra miles (more climbing) and a chance to tour the new AO for #UA o the OG route.  The good part of either route was a chance to experience Forsyth early in the run and have a nice little finisher with Manly near the end of the run

Great to be out this am and the rain held off

Mongoose was super pleased with the route while some of the Pax were disappointed that YHC didn’t make a stop at the pull up bars mandatory this time.

Walter White was the pace car for the #Fastholes today and it looked like he hardly broke a sweat.

The #Fasties flew by YHC on Manly and there was no one to blame but YHC.

Greenspan was moving today and should have run with the #Fasties, sorry that we couldn’t keep up with you and that you had to solo most of the route.

Ear Wax has now ran twice this week (the first time since he ran the Table Rock 50K last fall) and he looked like he hadn’t taken any time off.

Ear Wax and Hedwig were sprinting up the hills today just to make YHC regret the route even more.

Manscape was cruising along strong as ever today.

Pita was getting after it today.

Yhc and Hedwig had intended to run the OG route before Tractors today but a late night of work changed our plans. We did a modified OGs route after Tractors.  Don’t worry, we did Forsyth and Manly again, we couldn’t miss that fun again.

Please remember Harry and his family (close friends of Pita) as they deal with his transition into a nursing home as they try to help him with rapidly progressive dementia

Please remember friends of Zuckerberg who just lost twins late in pregnancy

Peacemaker gave thanks for the prayers and reports that his son is recovering from mono

YHC took us out giving thanks for the opportunity and ability to be here and for us to be the change that we want to see in the world and to be a light to help others see the way out of the darkness.

Then YHC got home and read a tweet from the Dalai Lama, “Change in the world comes from individuals, from the inner peace in individual hearts.  Just as ripples spread out when a single pebble is dropped into water, the actions of individuals can have far-reaching effects.”  We all have an impact with our actions and even with our presence. We often talk about showing up for the guy next to you and we need to constantly apply this and do our best daily to be the change that we want to see and be there for each other.
