Speed Trap Returns!

I know, I know. You’ve all been waiting for it: the return of Speed Trap to the Dash. Well, sleep easy because it’s back. 5 Pax jumped out of the fartsack (presumably because they had to pee really badly), and posted at Whitaker Elementary for a 4.5 mile fartlek training session. We crushed it so hard, we had time for some core work in the end a la RnG. Probably should have stolen the launch point and route from RnG like I used to, but decided to actually create the stuff myself this time. RnG Qs will have the opportunity to inspire me over the next few weeks though so think hard about launch points and routes.
Strategic error: starting 3 of the 4 speed portions uphill. Overall, the route had a little over 100 feet of elevation change, but it was all in the beginning of the fast parts. The last part of the last one was downhill, so the Pax weren’t too angry.
No Ramses today. Must have still been mourning Dook’s loss last night. I guess if you assemble the supposed best group of freshmen ever, you are supposed to win. Or not. Maybe having a tool for an upperclassman leader doesn’t work so well. Blame the refs I guess (even though basic statistics would say that doesn’t make sense).
Does anyone read VanGogh’s website any more? Not sure. I posted the backblast anyway so he wouldn’t harass me to do it.

At those of us who work from home and can’t actually talk to real people during the day read them. We know how much effort you put into it, want to “reward” that. Since there’s no “Tclaps” button, we have to leave a comment so you know we read.
Don’t forget, even though there is a space to put in pax when you create the backblast, that doesn’t actually show up, so we don’t know which #fastholes posted. (but knowing Ramses didn’t is some comfort) That quaint “feature” makes me think of the lovely line from Elf – “You sit on a throne of lies!”

YHC only reads prose by The Real Mongoose, or prose that mentions The Real Mongoose. Perhaps all pax should just post to Van Gogh’s website under his name. Or include him on the attending pax list (whenever it reappears) regardless of whether or not he was there.

YHC didn’t puke or poop in my pants with these men at Speed Trap, but I did have to take a Dook break after lap 3 of my timed mile at HP this morning while doing my own spped trap- Zuck, I’m with you man!

BTW the only reason I read this BB was to figure out what Bluto and The Vig’s GIFs were all about- still unsure.
