About the race:
The Highland Brewing Night Flight is everyone’s favorite twilight race and back for its fifth year and, it’s better than ever. The 4.5-mile East Asheville course will take runners through the Asheville Golf Course, through the Beverly Hills neighborhood (where you will be showered with cheers from the residents) and past the WNC Nature Center before finishing back at Highland Brewing Company. This year’s post-race party and awards ceremony will be at the Meadow. Glow swag will be provided, dressing up is always encouraged, and there will be beer waiting for you at the finish line! 100% of race proceeds go to the Asheville Parks and Greenways Foundation. About the trip:
The race starts at 7:30pm that day. Pax are invited to descend upon Wobegon’s family’s mountain house in Black Mountain anytime after noon that Saturday and then enjoy some recover and 2nd F back at the house post race. We can sleep up to 9 (in your own bed, sharing rooms.)
Sunday morning: who knows? Beatdown? Biscuits at Blue Ridge Biscuit Company? Leave early to get home for church? Up to you.
