It was my distinct pleasure to return my Mayhem, my previous Wednesday morning AO of choice.  #Zima has done a bang-up job as site Q and runs a tight ship.  He was also sweating heavily at 5:20 am when I arrived after having already done WIB, a Murph and 200 burpees.

 

The workout was something like this:

Warm-o-Rama with such offerings as SSH, Hillbillies, Whirly with a Clap, Abe Vigodas, Copperhead Squats, Merkins and Running with Scissors.

 

The Thang:

Mosey to the rock pile and select a medium rock (or huge rock if you’re Zima).  IC exercise, first being Curls.  Then run toward the circle in front of the school; stop when Fastholes reach their destination and do a workout OYO, first one being Fast Feet.  Then run back to the rock pile.  This was done 4 times with the 2nd-4th sets being Overhead Press / Lunges, Skull Crushers / Squats and Upright Rows / Calf Raises.

 

Mosey to Castaneda Court:

Wall sits with Jack Reachers, Donkey Kicks, Rebound Drills, Wall Sits with Head / Shoulders / Knees / Toes, Mike Tysons (#crowdpleaser).

Repeato with only difference being Seal Claps instead of Jack Reachers.

Balls to the Wall!!

 

Mosey to the parking lot:

DB drills, Lunge / Zombie Walk, Broad Jumps.

 

Mosey to the benches:

Dips and Irkins.

 

Back to the lot for Mary:

Rapid fire rounds of LBCs, Mutton Crunches, American Hammer, Rosalita (Low Dolly if you’re Bluto as noticed by Mongoose) and Heels to Heaven.

 

Done!

 

Moleskine:

MC was respectable, not necessarily respectful.

Mongoose exclaimed “time waster” as YHC was messing with watch prior to W-o-R.  He also noticed the above.

Root Canal did his lunges moving in the general direction of the rock pile.  #GoofyMove

Spam and Splash were unable to persuade Patch to attend this morning despite the offer of a ride.  #Someday

Balco barely made it on time.  Lemming did not.  #RedCurry

Zima has already worked out 4 times today.  He was instructed not to exercise at lunch.

Pony Express can run quite quickly.

DQ disappointed by paucity (or total absence) of Sumo Drills.

Mongoose claimed insubordination by Zima this am.  YHC wisely let this slide.

 

Announcements:

On Memorial Day Monday, Estate, Outhouse and RnG will converge at Outhouse (Leinbach Park) at 7 am for a 1 hour bootcamp workout Q’d by Tuco, Red Eye, Litter Box and YHC.  VI on as per usual at 530.  See Mongoose if you’re a Speed Tarper.

Splash has raised over $40,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society with a goal of $50,000 by June 9th.  Cash, checks, credit cards, Paypal, Venmo and Bitcoin accepted.

Ripple has his VQ at Purgatory Saturday.  The kid is young, fast and strong.  Beware.  Balco and Prospector have appointments available.

Zima has WIB at Jameson Park tomorrow.

 

YHC led us in prayer.

    Superb as usual Bluto. We will get Patch out here someday. There’s more to life than running super fast and 100 merkins a day.

    We’ll continue to hold out hope for Patch. Yes, this workout was definitely Zuckerberg-approved with the DB and Rebound Drills! “Keep your heels off the ground!”
