QIC: Huckleberry

5 Pax gathered at the Dawgpound in hopes of finishing at 0730 and getting more Saturday – YHC was unable to deliver this simple request.
Super excited about having an hour to work with, yhc remembered a workout that was done one year ago at The Estate – loved the workout and wished I had more time…….well today was the day…..and at the end I still wish I had more time! Here we go…..

SSH x 15IC, IW x 15IC, Abe V x 10IC, Whirly x 10IC and off we went
The Thang:
Run trail to picnic shelter near horses. The workout was simple, follow the musics commands, and then run a lap around the horse pasture and back to the picnic shelter. PAX were broken into 2 groups and would run in opposite directions. when they met in the middle, perform 10 reps of previous exercise just to remind those muscle groups that they were not done .
The music……..Moby – Flower (Bring sally up, bring sally down)
exercises – Merkins, Run, Squats, Run, Protractor (up to 30 degrees, down to 10 degrees), Run, Dips then calf raises, Run, Carolina Viaduct.
Run back to parking lot. FIN!
Prayers requests: Fingers M was in a car accident and is recovering – rough few months for their family but they have an upcoming vacation planned. Drip’s 2.0 was accepted to nursing school.
YHC took us out praying for those above, for giving us the ability to get up and get after it, and thanked HIM for loving us knowing that we are not perfect.
MC: Draino got in his warm up run before the workout….maybe I need to make these more difficult.
Butter maker had to leave early to make it to his 2.0’s first 5K – he was killing it until he had to go. Drains and TR need to have a squat contest – like a human with 2 redwoods to walk on. As we were running back to the parking lot, we got smoked by a female. Only to confirm it was Cobras M – she confirmed that he was still in the bed getting some beauty sleep – Ill let you know how much better he looks tomorrow if he posts to The Estate.
Everyone pushed themselves mentally and physically today. This song is terrible but great to workout to – it just keeps going. We did not make it back in time – the extra time is on the house fellas!

Sorry for the delayed comment, @Huckleberry… Thanks so much for leading. This was an excellent workout but it had the side effect of making me really hate that song…
