YHC enjoys spending time working in the yard.  In general, I can operate all the gas-powered tools properly (if they malfunction, snow ball’s chance in hell of fixing anything).  I figured I’d share my joy with the PAX by bringing and incorporating several tools of the trade into exercises.

The Thang:

There were 4 stations with 3 exercises at each.  Exercises were Tabata style with 45 seconds of work and 15 seconds of rest.  After every 6 exercises, the PAX ran – did a total of 4 suicides / life affirmations (3 running forward and 1 running backward) – about a mile covered total.

Rock Bucket Carry (walk to and fro with a bucket of rocks)

Poop Bag Deadlift (Deadlift a 50 lb bag of cow manure)

Lawnmower Pull (pull lawnmower [yes, YHC brought a push lawnmower] back to road and return; repeat for 45 seconds)

Lawnmower Start (Bent over Row)

Mower Raise (Front Raises with 10 lb plate in each hand)

Spray Bucket Curl (one arm curls with 2 gallon spray bucket filled with water)

Stamper Squat (in squat position, move stamper from overhead to ground and repeat)

Toolbox Overhead Press (no explanation needed)

Announcements – Fingers needs a Q for Dawg Pound on Saturday.  He says it’s “fun”.

Singing Cowboy’s father is home after doing cardiac rehab.

Pita’s father’s blood counts are improving.

Prayer Requests – Ed, father in law of Mr. Belding, had a bone marrow transplant this week.  Prayers for healing over the next few difficult months.

YHC took us out.
