I hate the ride pictured in the Tweeted photos.  Makes me nauseous – can do roller coasters all day, but not this one.  Running occasionally instills the same feeling.  I thought I’d combine the two.

The Thang:

The PAX moseyed from the Wm G White YMCA parking lot counterclockwise around Hanes Park, took a right at Hawthorne and stopped at the intersection of Runnymeade and Hawthorne.

Run 30 seconds hard up Runnymeade.  Mosey back to start.  30 second rest.

Run 30 seconds hard up Hawthorne.  Mosey back to start.  30 second rest.

Run 60 seconds hard up Runnymeade.  Mosey back to start.  60 second rest.

Run 60 seconds hard up Hawthorne.  Mosey back to start.  60 second rest.

Run 90 seconds hard up Runnymeade.  Mosey back to start.  90 second rest.

Run 90 seconds hard up Hawthorne.  Mosey back to start.  90 second rest.

Run 120 seconds hard up Runnymeade.  Mosey back to start.  120 second rest.

Run 120 seconds hard up Hawthorne.

Mosey back to Y parking lot.

Done.

I hope the PAX liked this format.  It provided hill work and also an opportunity to run at their desired paces.  We were chasing Patch the entire time – Sac and Wink pushed him a few times.  I’d say PAX logged between 3.5 and 5.5 miles total.

NMM:

Not a ton of MC as the PAX were either running hard or sucking wind (or both at the same time).

Patch was an excellent timekeeper and motioned when the various times were up.  #Fasthole and #Smarthole

We could have picked up Toto on our initial jog.  #5extraminutesofsleep

Strong work by Hitman – pushed me the entire time.

Peacemaker closed in prayer.
