Yesterday witnessed the epic 11th French Open Title for Rafael Nadal. It was also his 17th Grand Slam title. Dominic Thiem put up a valiant effort, but was no match falling in straight sets 6-4, 6-3, 6-2. No shame in that.
To honor this incredible achievement, we did the following:
Warm-o-Rama
SSH, over head claps, whirly has the clap, Abe vigoda, seal claps, squats. All IC either 11 or 17 reps each.
Mosey over to the tennis courts for suicides. We would perform 3 sets of suicides, one for each set won yesterday by Nadal. At the beginning and in between sets we would run one lap around the perimeter of the courts. Thus, we did:
Set 1: lap around perimeter, normal suicides, backward suicides, facing forward suicides and facing backward suicides. Then 4 burpees to represent number of games won by Thiem in first set
Set 2: lap around perimeter, apollo creed facing net, apollo creed facing parking lot, kariokee facing net, kariokee facing parking lot. Then 3 burpeees for the number of games won by Thiem in second set.
Set 3: lap around perimeter, high knee suicides, butt kicker, toy solider, lunge walk. Then 2 burpees for number of games won by Thiem in third set.
Time to collect the hardware!
Mosey to small rock pile behind the courts. Grab 2 smallish rocks.
Curls, Overhead press, front arm raises, side arm raises All X11 all IC. Nadal has also won three other tournaments 11 times including Barcelona and Madrid opens.
Mosey to large rock pile by sidewalk. Find a more challenging rock…just not a copperhead snake! Or dog poop.
Curls x 11 IC – drop rock and run to SS Linebach and return
Bent over row x 11 IC – run to SS Linebach and back.
Overhead press x 17 IC – to SS Libebach and back
Skullcrushers x 20 IC – Because Roger Federer has 20 GS titles! Return rocks and Mosey back to parking lot for 30 seconds of Mary.

The humidity level was high and there was a lot of sweat left on the courts.

Splash is officially Man of the Year! Congrats on raising funds for Lymphoma and Leukemia Society. We fully expect to see the sash soon. There is a motion that has been laid on table to rename Spalsh to Sash. Actually it was to remove the p and the l. So YHC would be Samaot. See how fun that is?
