COT, etc:
- Beautiful, unseasonably cool day today. Ruckin’ perfect weather…
- YHC was confused as to the topology of the terrain today; more hills than anticipated
- Instead of the opulence of Buena Vista and the mean streets of Ardmore, we opted for the middle-middle-class charms Springfield Farms
- We saw a motorized hang glider flying overhead colored like the American flag; anything’s possible in the village
- Saw @Phelps near River Oaks Church as he was training for an ultra marathon, also decked out in some red, white & blue gear. He ran backwards for a bit while he talked to us…
- Some reviews of this morning’s ruck & route: @DQ: “It’s not first on my list, but I might do it again…someday”, @DDay: “Still better than going to the dentist”, @Starfish: “Better than a kick in the teeth”, @SgtShultz had no comment
- There’s a nice “internet cafe” on the corner of Holder and Lewisville Clemmons, if you need to stop in & check the Facebooks or the Twitters…
