Non-Running Beatdown at Village Idiocy – 08/13/2018
For all those PAX that either don’t like to run or just wanted to take a break from running, this was for you. A non-running beatdown at Village Idiocy. But we were joined by a separate group of running crazies who decided they would rather run 4 miles than suffer through what YHC had in store for them. They were guys from the “Only Here 4 The Bourbon” (OH4TB) team who are training for the Bourbon Chase in October. They launched from the Village Idiocy AO and timed their run to finish in time to join the rest of us for COT.

The Thang:
Railroad Tracks:
First pax drops to low plank, second pax jumps over first pax and gets in low plank after a couple yards. Third pax jumps over each of the first 2 pax and gets in low plank after a couple yards, and so on. After all pax have gone, the first pax jumps over all the pax and returns to low plank. This is continued until the destination is reached.
Ring of Fire in a Straight Line
First pax drops to his back and raises his legs to a 45 degree angle. Second pax attempts to push his feet to the ground and then assumes the same position after a couple yards. Third pax attempts to push down the feet of each of the first 2 pax and then assumes the same position after a couple yards, and so on. After all pax have gone, the first pax starts the process over again. This is continued until the destination is reached.
Lazy Dora
Partner up. Partners perform 100 Merkins, 200 LBCs, & 300 Squats as a team. Partner 1 starts with 10 Merkins while Partner 2 planks, then switch. Continue switching between Merkins and plank until 100 total Merkins reached. Next, while Partner 1 does 20 LBCs, Partner 2 performs a 6″ leg hold until Partner 1 is finished, then switch. Continue switching until all 200 LBCs are completed. Finally, Partner 1 does 25 squats while Partner 2 does squat hold, then switch. Continue switching until 300 total squats are completed.
Bear Crawl Suicide with Mike Tysons
Pax line up beside each other and Bear Crawl the distance of 2 parking spaces and then Crawl Bear back 1 parking space and perform 5 Mike Tysons. Next, Bear Crawl 2 parking spaces and then Crawl Bear back 1 parking space and perform 10 Mike Tysons. Continue for 5 rounds, adding 5 Mike Tysons at each round until 25 Mike Tysons are completed at the final round. Lunge Walk back to starting point.
Repeat Railroad Tracks / Lunge Walk back to starting point.

PAX called Mary exercises as time allowed.

NMM:
- Spicoli was there… on Spicoli time, of course. But no matter, it’s always good to see the man.
- It was nice to meet “Buttermaker” and “60 Minutes” this morning. Solid work by both men and I look forward to getting to know them better.
- Lite Brite was working hard and still pushing to improve after recovering from an injury.
- Ice Dancer was there to remind YHC how to count to 3 during cadence. Need all the help I can get.
- Haven’t seen Skidmark in a while so it was nice to have him there. He was happy to have a non-running beatdown… until about half way through.
- YHC did break into a mosey for a few steps, Ice Dancer caught me… Cobains!
- On the running side, Sour Mash set a new PR for his run this morning. Keep Pushing, Big Guy!

Nice Q, Rust Bucket. Between you and Van Gough, my shoulders and chest are thoroughly shot. Your whole Q had a nice pace and rhythm. Thank you for your leadership.
