6 PAX gathered at Bailey Park for a nice hilly, quasi-downtown ruck that took us along Salem Creek, up the Strollway, and back through downtown.
Here’s the turn-by-turn:
- Leave Bailey Park toward 4th St
- L on 4th
- R on Research Pkwy
- L onto Salem Creek Greenway (under bridge)
- Take Greenway to S Main St
- R on S Main St to Strollway
- Up Strollway to Brookstown
- L on Brookstown
- R on Summit
- R on 6th
- R on Patterson
- Return to Start
~5mi ~300ft climb
Announcements & COT:
- @Starfish has Q at #BnW on Wed, travel to NY on Wed, and Austin on Thu, and Oklahoma City next weekend to see the Sooners play. #RamblinMan
- @SgtSchultz out-paced everyone; he’s a lean, mean, ruckin’ machine…
- @RoadApple & @Moonlight did an pre-ruck run preparing for some kind of monstrous super-ultra-extravaganza marathon.
- The view from the six saw @RustBucket and others running to catch up to @SgtSchultz. I guess some people just like to run with heavy weights on their backs…
- @Starfish had to endure some nerdy-ass commentary from YHC about medieval Christian philosophers (among other nerdy topics). For him, it was truly a trail of endurance…
- Thanks for the keys!
Aye!

BAM
Quality reading. Did Schultz have his weight vest, ruck, and keen sense of direction? Cause, that’s a lot of weight.

I doubled in medieval history and religion in undergrad, Fingers. Would love to swap stories sometime.
