YHC woke up more than once in the night to the sound of rain. Thankful we just dealt with some light sprinkles.
Lots of football talk as pax gathered—good to have it back as a distraction from the more superior sports of baseball and hockey. Clearly we all missed something good by not finishing the late game. 530, lets go!
Warm-o-rama:
- SSH 20 IC
- Squats 20 IC
- Imperial Stormtroopers 20 IC
- Abe 15 IC
The Thang:
Mosey to the track. For the following:
- 10-Half-15
- Pax does 10 merkin, mosey halfway around track, perform 15 merkins, come back around, repeat (50 merkins, two laps)
- Repeat with LBC (50 LBCs, two more laps)
- total of around a mile and 100 excercises
- The Slow Motion Burpee
- Pax lunge walks one left leg, one right
- Perform 1 squat
- Perform 5 merkins
- Perform 5 LBCs
- Repeat to end of first length of track
- This sucked. Did not count totals but it was…it was a lot.
- Mosey to shelter:
- 20 dips OYO
- 20 leg lefts OYO
- Schneider joins us just in time to Mosey once more around lap (lots of MC about this….)
- Back to start for Mary
- YHC ran out of stuff after the usual Heels to Heaven, Freddy Mercs, Penguin Crunches, Mutton Crunches
- A few called exercise from pax including a surprise plank/merkin from Spicoli.
- Took a poll, average of 615 so we are DONE.
Whew.

No prayer requests besides a thanksgiving of sorts from YHC. Dad has a recent COPD diagnosis, but is doing physical therapy and more active than he has been in my lifetime as a result. Seeing the positive in this.

- Respect to Sassy for posting after a monster run on Sunday. Thank you for the show of support.
YHC took us out in thanks and anticipation of whatever the day may hold, knowing it started right.
Sassy, thanks for the keys. Heard some pax refer to the workout as “Red Line Village Idiocy”. Hope everyone got their money’s worth. Always an honor.

Great start to the day and the week, Woebegn! YHC needs to up my running game and this started that effort out right.
The slow motion burpee was a slog. I counted at least 14 sets of those exercises. Can neither confirm nor deny that YHC cheated…
