You know when you are asked to do something 2-weeks prior to the event, then the site Q confirms via text a few days before, and then you get in your clown car on the way to the event and only remember you have the Q when your cc compatriot asks what the Pax will be doing? And then you scramble for something on your 4-minute car ride to the AO?

That happened – this day! YHC wishes he could blame it on his anniversaire but, no. And following on the heels of attempting to Q #Impossible Situation at Leinbach Park…

Warm O’Rama

At the inquiry of one smart aleck Pax who wondered whether we were going to be doing Moon Goods that day – since I didn’t have anything else planned (unbeknownst to all Pax except Chisel at this point), we started with those. In cadence, 20x each side. Then,

– SSH

– Imperial Storm Troopers (Glazer is the best at making pew-pew noises)

– Mosey to the Track

The Thang

  •  Run around the track doing warm-up exercises (does this belong in the last section?) such as Apollo Creeds, Karaoke, & High Knees
  •  Stop at the shelter and grab some bench for Ciabatta
    • 4x sets of 4:  Dips, Cherry Pie Death Crunches, Merkins, Step Ups
  • Take a lap around the track
  • Another round of Ciabatta (it was delicious)
    • 4x sets of 4:  Dips, Derkins(2x)/Erkins (2x), Fire Hydrants, LBCs
  • Mosey back to the newly paved parking lot, find some curb
  • 3x sets of calf raises
  • 3x sets of WWII situps

Mary & COT

  • YHC’s favorite = ‘popcorn’ Mary
  • Whomever chose last, picked next
  • YHC remembers doing Russian Twists and many others which he is struggling to recall
  •  Seemed like a solid workout with good camaraderie
  • Praise for Mutton’s brother’s cancer responding to the treatment!
  • Pray for Lawn Boy’s shoulder surgery (of the Weed Eater family – YHC had the “humble” aspect emphasized when he requested confirmation that “Lawn Boy” was an F3 guy, thus implying YHC thought “Lawn Boy” could have been his given name. Good time had by most!)
