After YHC’s weekend full of Christmas church play madness, Qing a few idiots around The Village should be a piece of cake. There were rumors of a Mash Mile so YHC woke up a little early and joined Mash and TSC for a mileish lap around Publix. They were informed this would be a little preview of the day’s workout.
Upon our return we were greeted by Lite Brite and Starfish. The rooster crowed and the clock struck 0530 and we began. Starting off slowly – Abe Vigodas, WWACs and Arm Swirlies – big circles going to small then reverse and small to big.
Then we moseyed off in the direction of Publix. We stopped a few times and did a few more Warmorama type things like SSHs, Fast feet, Mtn Climbers and Mary Katherines. Then up to Publix parking lot for 4 corners.
Corner 1 featured a variety of merkins. Corner 2 a variety of leg exercise. Corner 3 was a wild card with Mike Tysons, monkey humpers, cobra humpers and burpees. Finally Corner 4 was the ab corner. We did 4 laps and then a few other things on the picnic benches in front of Publix.
At some point we lost Sour Mash for his morning school duties. The remaining 4 moseyed back with a stop at bottom of hill and some variation of the pain the Drip inflicted Saturday. Partner 1 performed plank jacks while p2 ran 50 yds or so performed a couple of burpees then return and flap jack.
We attempted 2 rounds of this but there was some protest by Lite Brite and TSC and we all moseyed to top of the hill whereupon the Q, not to be outdone, ordered full speed back to launch spot. Not quite the running of the fastholes, but the 4 respects all made it back with no injuries other than the ones we already had.
Starfish vetoed Sumo Drill so we did a few minutes of Mary.

We were quite heavy on the respect front today with only Sour Mash under the 50 line and Lite Brite recently crossing over into double Respect land
Lite Brite was surprised by the amount of running – so was the Q. Lite Brite also accused Q of making it up. Yeah…a little.
Always good to have Starfish on a weekday
TSC was sporting a stylish Jim Beam headwear that he enjoys twirling into a man bun for just the right look
