Keep it simple
QIC: Huckleberry
Date: 12/6/18
PAX: Greenspan, Zima, DQ, Van Gogh, Offsides, Turnover, Cherry Pie, Root Canal, Cheese Steak, YHC
On a beautiful crisp morning, YHC elected to create a WIB that was easy to follow. So a pre blast was sent…..run a paved circle, stop at 2 sites for a leg exercise, an arm exercise, and an ab exercise. How simple is that?!?!
10 PAX gathered to bond and see just how simple this was going to be. 528…..look….meadowlark elementary school added one of those “children crossing” plastic men to the parking lot. wait….nope, that is just Zima wearing a neon yellow jacket with red gloves and red shorts. That was tough to look at, even at 500 in the morning. 0530…time to go..
warm o rama – SSH, IW, Abe V…its cold lets go…
Mosey to Jamison Park for instructions…..remember, simple.
Run the lap around the park. Stop at the 2 stations with picnic tables (one on each end).
station 1 – Bulgarian split squats x 5 each leg, Hand release merkins x 5, WWII x 5
station 2 – single leg glute thrusts x5 each leg, shoulder slap merkins x 5, carolina viaducts x 5 each side
REPEAT AND INCREASE EXERCISES BY 5 EACH TIME
613…..time to head back. see, easy.
Announcements – F3 FIA party
Prayers – DQ has a friend that was recently diagnosed with ALS
YHC took us out
MC – Lots of MC out there today. I just missed most of it since this group of machines took off and crushed it today. here are some that i caught….
Why do we have to increase reps by 5 each time……….seems excessive
I’ve neglected my glutes
for those of you up front…add anything you remember
Great work by everyone. I believe everyone finished 6 laps and was up to 30 reps per station. Cherry Pie….FYI…..Meadowlark is actually in Winston Salem….not Salisbury. But I do appreciate you coming all the way out. Always a pleasure.
It was great to warm up this group today. I enjoyed watching them workout while I was 100 yards back. Thank you for the opportunity Thistle, it was my pleasure. Just so everyone knows……30 Bulgarian split squats really suck.
Until next time….Huck
