Recycled Workout on Ice at #Mayhem

7 PAX gathered in the frozen wasteland that was the parking lot of Meadowlark Middle & Elementary schools. We even had to change where we park to avoid getting stuck. Some PAX were incredulous that we would even attempt a workout in such a hazardous environment. But undeterred (and some might say a little lazily), YHC recycled a Q from #Parliament that required no running and lots of reps.

We followed the original fairly closely, except for some variation in the warm-up exercises. Also, we did the “ab smasher” in “round-robin” fashion and were able to get through the entire circuit.

We did have music this morning, courtesy of my Christmas playlist. Several songs by the Killers, some traditional Christmas songs done as guitar-driven instrumentals, and even Leon Redbone singing “Christmas Island”…
Some complaints when we started the 2nd round of “8 Ball O’ Merkins”, but overall a pretty quiet group this morning. For YHC, it started looking more like an “8 Ball O’ Dry Docks” by the end…
