YHC had to postpone a Q from earlier this year and Zima rescheduled me for the week before Christmas. Time to pull out an old workout that YHC led at UA a couple of years ago that seemed to be popular. There were changes that would be required to adapt to the different AO but we had something to work with.

YHC arrived early and dropped off a couple of bags that would be needed later at the back of the school – didn’t think about the risk of the bus drivers calling in a bomb threat. One more thing a Q has to worry about.

By then it’s almost 5:25 and my next worry is no one showing up for this well planned beatdown. Suddenly what to my wondering eyes did appear but sleighs full of pax. The long lost Plunger was even one of them as well as the not so long lost Pony Express who were both enticed by prior night’s texts.

The group gathered and Mongoose asked for modifications for all pax due to his injury. #itdoesntworklikethat. We were then regaled by Plunger with some story about his creativity in naming an FNG but story time was over and on to the day’s work.

The MC was strong today. Some complimentary – some not. YHC did hear Theme Master Pony Express say something to the effect – “Never let an exercise get in the way of the theme” YHC takes that as a compliment. Others were not so complimentary on the choice to go down to the wet field. Cobains

The reindeer driving (aka Saratogas) almost ended in disaster when a bus pulled out. Would like to know what he thought when he saw that mess. That also caused us to end 1 min over. We should have run back toward the parking lot and solved both problems. #Qfail

Great group of pax with wide range of ages. Also some pax YHC doesn’t know well – thought Bevo was Burns – Cobains. Thanks for pushing through and putting up with my attempt at a Christmas theme.
