Nothing special was planned for the special twenty-six pax who posted to the weekly Hanes Park Running Party, just a gentle jaunt around West End and Buena (‘Boona’) Vista with a flyby of Graylyn for the OGs (Tractors were spared the initial climb up Clover). However, the folks at the Estate rolled out the bacon sheets and welcomed the OGs crew with the irresistible smells of an aristocrat’s breakfast. The aroma alone was enough to carry the pax back down the hill for an intersection with the rolling Tractors for a final push home.
The Q’s decision to start the OGs up the Intimidator was well-received by the pax. YHC also learned what DW# stands for (it’s not ‘Dark Wing Duck’, if you were wondering). Multiple pax also mentioned the psychological trauma received from being forced to run the Northwest to West End route home as opposed to Hawthorne to Glade.
