Rain, Rain Go Away

13 PAX set out on a rainy Friday morning to run a relatively “flat” course starting up Hawthorne and into Ardmore. While the first 2 miles were spent dodging puddles, most of us gave up after a while, running the remainder of the course in waterlogged shoes.
Our soaked spirits were lifted when the PAX ran by my house allowing me to show off our new yard ornament – a fallen tree that has yet to be removed due to the continued rain. It has been down for some time, with our yard starting to feel a little more redneck-like every day.
We continued out of the Ardmore area, up Miller St. and into Buena Vista. We froggered our way across 5-points and down Stratford, eventually turning down Robinhood for a fine gravity assisted end to the run.

It was cold and raining so we kept things brief, however, the F3 community continues to send prayers and thoughts to Palin and his family, as well as to Boo Boo and his brother-in-law Keith.

Let it be known the term “flat” continues to be hotly contested in relation to today’s route.
