As today’s beatdown took shape in YHC’s mind, it was driven my a playlist. Several months ago, YHC Q’d a workout at Bells & Whistles, where the playlist contained bands that YHC had seen in concert. Today’s playlist was again bands YHC had seen in concert. But this time, YHC focused on the opening acts.
As the Pax gathered under a clear sky and beautiful moon, YHC pressed “play” and off we went.

Even though site Q and big-time Rush fan Sgt. Schultz was not present….no Rush was played.
Plan had been to use two blocks each, but it appeared that there were not enough bricks to accomplish that goal. Oh well. Just increase reps.
Even with DORA completed, total mileage was under 1 mile. #burlapapproved
Blue Light Special (former roommate of Starfish) noted that YHC and Starfish shared musical tastes. Total compliment! Was one of the first things YHC learned about Starfish.

****Fun fact 2****James McMurtry is the son of Larry McMurtry (Terms of Endearment, Lonesome Dove, Brokeback Mountain). Larry McMurtry wrote the screenplay to the movie, Falling from Grace, staring John Mellencamp. While filming, Larry McMurtry told Mellencamp that his son (James) was a musician. Long story short, James McMurtry ended up playing on a couple of songs on the soundtrack. Mellencamp would go on to produce James McMurtry’s first two albums.
****Fun fact 3 and 4****YHC has seen Mellencamp 5 times and James McMurtry 9 times.
*****Bonus fun fact****Mellencamp is from Seymour, Indiana. YHC’s roommate during freshman year was from…Seymour, Indiana.
