SSH x 20 IC (til the employees got in the building)

The Thang

Pain Station 1: 10 x Pull Ups, 10 x Burpees

Pain Station 2: 10 x Derkins, 10 x Swipe Squats (Sumo Stance, stay low and swipe from Left to Right, butt always low)

Pain Station 3: 10 x Mike Tysons, 10 x Reach Ups

Loop: Run from station 3 back around to station 1. Total distance is .3 .2ish miles. Repeato til time is up or Mary is called!

Target Goal: 7 10 loops for 70 100 reps of everything!

Note: If there is no room for pull-ups, perform 2nd exercise first. PAX can sub side-pulls or negatives for Pull Ups, and Irkins for Derkins as necessary.

• Convergence at Samaritan THIS Saturday! BE THERE! EH A FRIEND!
• YHC took us out giving thanks, asking for guidance to be better leaders, and for purpose in all we do

NMM

• Strong group this morning, we completed TEN laps!
  • That makes for 100 Pull-Ups (or side-pulls), 100 burpees, 100 Derkins, 100 Swipe Squats, 100 Mike Tysons, 100 Reach Ups. WOW!
• Distance was not .3 miles as mapped, was more like .2… making for somewhere between 2 and 3 miles covered this AM.
• Did you guys know that Home Depot opens at 6AM? YHC didn’t. We got a lot of looks from employees and customers alike!
• YHC did tell one employee who we were, and waved at a few others… was fully ready to threaten that we were going to Lowe’s if we were asked to leave. Thankfully, we were left alone to complete our beatdown.
• YHC started off trying to be nice, offering PAX the option to swap their Derkins and Pull-Ups if there wasn’t room at the first station. This led to too much confusion and YHC subsequently stopped being nice after that.
• Some PAX, @RootCanal and @Lambchop, parked in the wrong location and dared to tell YHC that I was the one who didn’t park in the right spot… @BeastLite backed me up that THEY indeed had it wrong.
• A mysterious odor was hovering around the 2nd pain station… no ideas what it was or where/who it came from. #DrTootCanal didn’t claim it… @Lambchop theorized it was from the tied up grocery bag nearby.
• The PAX were unsure of the cart returns ability to hold us for Pull-Ups, but YHC assured them it’d probably be okay. And it was!
• @Lambchop claims to be a butt man, and was very curious which part of our butt’s had to be down low for the swipe squats. All parts, my friend… or at least more than what you were doing! #Bazinga
• @HOG made the work seem easy. He got to hear YHCs ramblings as we made our loops… #Cobains!
• @Palin noticed that YHC had called last lap about 3 times… the PAX were just flying along. He was also wearing his #Ultra shirt which @BeastLite inquired about, and YHC told him he was one of the few elite to earn it! @Palin then chimed in with “or bought off eBay.” Way to not take any credit for your awesome achievement last year! #Humble
• @BeastLite claimed not to have any shoulder left at the end, YHC hopes he was joking. It was great to see him out and he put in strong work this morning!
• @Mutton didn’t get enough and was doing bonus Burpees during CoT?? Surely he wouldn’t have skipped any earlier and was making up for it… right?
• As YHC was set to call off the last set of the 10th round due to time, @CherryPie yelled emphatically at YHC for us to finish it out. And finish we did. I am glad he disregarded time protocol to get to that magical 100 mark! #TClaps

Thanks for the keys, @Burns. Hated you were there, but from our Twitter MC it seems like you made the right choice. Also sad to so see @Turnover, @Zima, and @Greenspan had other places to be. Probably for the best though, as the setup wouldn’t have allowed for much more. And therefore, the 8 who followed along for #PAINDEPOT benefitted in turn. I benefitted from them being there as well, both in terms of reps completed, and in the #2ndF I enjoyed from their company. Always a pleasure to be amongst such fine gentlemen!
