A few weeks back YHC had attempted to facilitate a substi-Q in which one participant replied with text that included “OK” so YHC dutifully updated the calendar and went about my day. Fastforward to Friday when said PAX identified his unavailability to lead as he would be “in OK.” Undeterred, YHC set about coming up with the little number that follows. Initial feedback is that it was sufficient.
WoR: SSH, IW, FAC, RAC, Whirly, AV
Mosey to the track and take a lap, then 3-man grinder with
- LBC and lunges – 2 rounds
- H2H and Diamond Merkins – 2 rounds
- American Hammer and burpees (PAX choice) – 2 rounds
Mosey to the pullup bars for 5 rounds of minimurph
- 5 pullups
- 10 merkins
- 15 squats
Head to the wall for
- peoples chair
- BTTW with shoulder taps
- Mike Tyson
Repeato
Minimurph for 2 more rounds
Mosey to the main entrance, then head to pilot view (PAX choice)
- Run up the hill, stopping at each intersection for 5 burpees
Mosey back to the cars for Mary

NMM:
- YHC waited too long to write the BB, so delicious detail is absent, kotters
- Walker was EH’d by lambchop. He attended a college, so the natural naming instinct is to name him the rival of said college. Done
- Balbit was EH’d by Buyout, his roommate. Somehow Buyout managed to leave their shared residence without disturbing or alerting Balbit. We found Balbit patiently waiting by the main entrance on our return from Pilot View. He joined us for Mary so it counts. He is a neuroscientist, a profession shared with a character from the big bang theory, who is played by an actress/scientist who is also on the TV show Blossom.
- Reflection: PAX can be led to make bad choices when the choices are not fully explained, might be a theme for my next workout.
