Deep Thoughts from the Q:
- At any point in the workout, Lambchop had the ability to make the PAX Omaha whatever we were doing and move onto an alternate plan. He chose not to exercise that option soon enough. The Q finally took the offer off of the table when Lambchop admitted out loud how was going to outsmart the Q and use his power for evil. Almost a serious #QFail. Didn’t think that one through.
- Here’s a math riddle: If 5 PAX start the workout, 1 joins in at some point, and 2 leave early, how are there 10 people in COT? Go figure.
- Buyout is fast, even at half speed. I couldn’t even cheat correctly to beat him in a sprint. Just imagine if he stayed for an entire workout.
- It was fun to watch all of the different exercises people chose to do at the pullup bars. Other than the 3 actually called ones, somehow Imperial Storm Troopers, LBCs, Planks, Chinups, Regular Merkins (kind of), and Squats curiously made an appearance. #ModifyAsNecessary
- Turnover wants more Merkins. Wherever he posts on Monday, add some extras for him.
- Was Mutton’s early exit planned or was it just an FU to the Q? I even saved Mutton Crunches for the final exercise.
- The #IPC’ers wouldn’t join us for the beatdown, so we took the beatdown to them. OK, so all we did was invade their body destroyers during Mary which kind of forced them to participate.
- My guess on how Truck Stop received his name was not accurate and probably not suitable to print in a public setting. Let’s just say that his name is derived from the fact that he was once a long haul trucker.
- Offsides has some interesting (and slightly unhealthy) theories about what can be done with a cinder block. We’ll chalk it up to his brain not correctly functioning because he just getting off work and then completed the #IPC.
Announcements:
- Van Gogh wants people to know that even if they didn’t sign up for #IPC, they can still do the workouts. Exactly no one this morning seemed even the slightest bit interested on taking him up on that offer.
- $5 Footlong’s wedding is next Saturday (editor’s note: The author’s commentary has been redacted). It is uncertain whether or not there will be a beatdown beforehand ala Shmedfest or Climb to Remember.
Prayers:
- Offsides daughter to be able to get back to doing what she loves.
- Fish Sticks and his marriage.
- Root Canal took us out and 20-25 minutes later, we all said “Amen”.
Zima out.
