Announcements:
- $5 Footlong needs hands (no brain required) to move a couch tomorrow after 7 am workouts Saturday.
- Did YHC mention the Tuna Run? Team Expendables still has open slots for the October 25-26 relay race. Zima promises to start using an inhaler if three more teammates will step up. See Offsides for more info.
Prayer Requests:
- Families with kids with special needs, for wisdom and guidance.
- The H.O.G. took us out.
NMM:
- YHC promised “we will not do 150 burpees.” In fact, we did 0 burpees, and YHC doubts anyone felt cheated. YHC wanted a different type of workout from the brutality inflicted by a) IPC on Wednesday and b) Touch Me Not at WIB Thursday while still giving folks a sense of validation for getting up and out.
- Forty Dan Taylors is a lot. But not a lot like 150 burpees is a lot.
- Everyone who participated in Thistle’s last UA Q months ago still carries deep scars from what went down at the Clark Brown Funeral Home. Even Cheesesteak seemed a little apprehensive when we entered the premises, while Dr. Rootin Tootin was very Stoic about it. Mid-plank walk, a car drove through the parking lot, and a man opened up the metal gate. YHC saw him shake his head in amusement at what was occurring.
- YHC enjoyed meeting Witherspoon this morning following his first appearance at TRQ Thursday. Welcome!
- Tar Heel pushed himself and got in an extra cycle of backwards running from the trestle to Chestnut street.
- Running was minimized, but we still covered 1.6ish miles.
Have a great weekend, guys. Thanks for joining YHC this morning. Cheesesteak, I left the keys in your coffee cup.
