Another 12 Days of Christmas

Joined by all the brave PAX, Bevo put everyone through the one of the most well known Christmas songs!

We did a little Warm-a-rama in the parking lot with SSH’s and Abe V’s.

Then we walked to the track while carrying weights…consisting of the following poundage:

  • 53, 40, 35, 35, 30, 25, 20

We parked under the empty little pavilion near the stairs leading towards the pull-up bars.  While some chatter cmmenced while the Q was laying out the instructions to the workout, Palin pranced his way over to join us.  The instructions were simple…we were about to do the 12 Days of Christmas workout.

  • 1st Day = Lap (250 meters)
  • 2nd Day = Burpees
  • 3rd Day = Goblet Squats (with weight)
  • 4th Day = Dive bombers
  • 5th Day = Pull-ups
  • 6th Day = Box Jumps
  • 7th Day = Dips
  • 8th Day = Merkins
  • 9th Day = Skull Crushers (with wieght)
  • 10th Day = Triple Bears (ask the Q about them)
  • 11th Day = WW2’s
  • 12th Day = Low Flutters (double count)

Each day represents the amount of reps to do for that exercise.  And just like the song, we went Day 1…then Day 2, Day 1…then Day 3, Day 2, Day 1…etc.  At the end of the the 45 minutes straight of movement, we totaled:

  • Almost 2 miles
  • 22 burpess
  • 30 Goblet Squats
  • 36 Dive Bombers
  • 40 Pull-Ups
  • 42 Box Jumps
  • 42 Dips
  • 40 Merkins
  • 36 Skull Crushers
  • 30 Triple Bears
  • 22 WW2’s
  • 12 Low Flutters

Needless to say, we were all feeling pretty full of the Christmas spirit!
