The pax partied too hard at the F3/FiA holiday party on Saturday, leaving a gap in the Q ranks for Monday.  The “mystery guest” YHC had announced via the Twitter had to fill in at his home field once the scheduled Q went down with sickness.  That same “mystery guest” had to back out completely when his 2.0 got sick as well.  The result?  YHC stepped in and attempted to fill the void with something that would be worthwhile for the four HIMs that posted to F3 Nation’s best Outhouse.

Prayer Requests:

• $5 Footlong has a stomach virus.
• O.G.’s son has a stomach virus.
• Prayers that we would be men willing and thankful to serve when our Ms and 2.0s go down with stomach viruses.
• $5 Footlong’s father has been hospitalized with high blood pressure and is experiencing severe anxiety.
• Pert Plus gave thanks for all of the pax who ran in the 5k this week that raised money for his son’s therapy dog.
• Physical healing for Blue Steel, Spicoli, Root Canal (Pharaoh Jelly Leg), and Rust Bucket.
• Prayers for those who wish they could be out with us but are unable to.
• Soul healing for all those suffering.

YHC took us out with prayers of thanks for the fellowship of F3 and to not let the fitness or the fellowship, which are life-giving, be our ultimate end, but instead the 3^rd F.

NMM:

• The “mystery guest” was intended to be the H.O.G. who had put his beat down on hold last week when he found no willing takers. Alas, sickness struck both $5 Footlong, the scheduled Q at the Estate today, as well as the H.O.G.’s son.
• Welcome to Post Hole who, YHC believes, made his first appearance at the Outhouse today and even joined YHC on the 0512 EC run. Post Hole described to YHC the different levers he had to pull in order to be able to post today, so YHC desired to provide him a feeling that the time was worthwhile.
• Zima and Van Gogh popped in shortly before 0530…YHC’s day was immediately taken to the 11s.
• Pert Plus drove 100 yards past the entrance to the launch and then reversed in the middle of the road. Post Hole asked if it was the first time Pert Plus had come to the Outhouse as well.  YHC shook his head with a chuckle and responded, “No, he’s here most weeks.”  To be fair, Bevo has been in Florida for the past week and a half…and was listening to the 80s Christmas Jam station.
• Zima began complaining early on about his legs being sore from his IS Q on Saturday coupled with his blazing run in the Farm 5k on Sunday. YHC cannot honestly say that the emphasis on leg work today was not driven by Zima’s early declaration of vulnerability.
• Van Gogh did a lot of monkey humpers this morning. El Gargantuan’s legs carried him quickly up the hill and spent the time waiting for the remainder of the pax by continuous monkey humping.  Zima and Bevo may have slowed down their lunging up the hill to prolong VG’s enjoyment.
• VG was nominated as the weekly spokesperson for the need for pull up bars at the Outhouse. There was also discussion about introducing kettle bells into the MO for the AO.
• Bevo accused YHC of skipping sets of monkey humpers. Who would ever do such a thing?
• There was a great deal of confusion and consternation as we blazed past the launch point down Sally Kirk at 0606, although I expect Zima had an idea of what was coming: all you got back to the launch.  Bevo started 25 yards behind everyone and finished 15 yards ahead.  He’s fast.

YHC hopes all those who are sick or who have Ms/2.0s that are sick recover quickly, and that the H.O.G. can eventually bring his special brand of beatdown cheer back to the Outhouse.  YHC will personally deliver the keys to next week’s Q.
