I’ve been seeing lots of great stuff from our brothers in F3 Natville (Greensboro) about their pushups for playgrounds campaign and thought that I would plan a WIB to celebrate the great playgrounds we are blessed with.

Mission and core values recited from memory, flawlessly.

Standard warm-o-rama. Fair bit of MC, but YHC couldn’t hear it, assume they were complimenting my impeccable cadence.

Mosey to the base of the intimidator where the plan was laid out as follows:

• Up clover
• Clover and Carolina – 5 merkins
• Clover and Jersey – 5 diamond merkins
• Over on Jersey
• Brookstown and Jersey – 5 wide merkins
• Down Brookstown
• Brookstown and Carolina – 5 ranger merkins
• Mosey to playground for 5 reverse merkins from the swings, then back up clover

Repeat the course, adding 2 repetitions at each station every lap. Each lap was ~0.5mi and everyone got in 5 or 6 laps. Good job!

Lots of generosity this morning to support the HIM of F3 GSO in their effort to build a playground in a deserving neighborhood. I’ll tally up the contributions tomo and post the sum.

MC:

• appreciate the EC run with turnover (2mi) and van gogh (1mi)
• I was thinking of starting with 10 reps but I think all are grateful that smarter minds prevailed
• According to VG, over 2000 merkins completed this am, not sure how to transfer them to the F3GSO fellas
• Strong group this morning, appreciate Tarheel and Burns pushing me as we chased the shadowy figures out front.
• Good to meet Patch from GSO, not F3WS Patch
• PAX appreciated the KISS planning
• at ~0614, YHC offered to let the PAX run the route in reverse to keep the odometer mileage low, no takers3
• Will update the donation total tomo after a visit to the bank’s coin counter

• F3GSO 2/1/20 history march at 9am, about 5.5 miles, rucks encouraged
