Good old Flatline. YHC has experienced some crushing workouts here. Felt like I needed to bring something special.

The EC Runners (VG, Palin, H.O.G., Zima) roll in from their impressively paced run and 530 comes and we take off:

The Thang

• Mosey to Benton Convention Center (about .20 miles)
• Circle up, Squats while the Q gives instructions for the Burp Line Drill we’ll do back at Start…

Goes like this:

• Mosey to center cone, 2 burpees
• Mosey back to starting line, 1 burpee
• Mosey to the far cone, 2 burpees
• Return to starting line for Round 1 of routine detailed on the cardboard. Repeat Line Drill, move to Round 2.

The Rounds:

1. 10 squats
2. 10 squats, 20 merkins
3. 10 squats, 20 merkins, 30 LBCs
4. 10 squats, 20 merkins, 30 LBCs, 40 double-count Imperial Walkers
5. 10 squats, 20 merkins, 30 LBCs, 40 double-count Imperial Walkers, 50 Side Straddle Hops
6. 50 Side Straddle Hops, 40 Imperial Walkers, 30 LBCs, 20 Merkins
7. 50 Side Straddle Hops, 40 Imperial Walkers, 30 LBCs
8. 50 Side Straddle Hops, 40 Imperial Walkers
9. 50 Side Straddle Hops
10. 10 squats

Most pax finished 10 rounds then started again or jumped in with the 6 (Hi!). You do the math on the totals, my arms are too tired.

Whew.

Amazing effort by all on a workout that was even worse than expected.

• As anyone would expect, VG, Cherry Pie, and Zima were in a three-way tie for Most Awesome the whole time.
• H.O.G. was quietly and methodically making short work of the cardboard. This guy…dang.
• Palin was not as vocal as he normally is either but I appreciate his jumping in to finish the last round with me. Think he liked the routine.
• More like $500 Footlong with the high-rolling effort. He does.not.quit.

Announcements:

• Cherry Pie may or may not have the Q at an upcoming edition of Flatline #PingBing
• VG and CP both on Q tomorrow though, check the schedule
• Rangers, keep running.

Prayer Requests:

• Palin and his M going in for some maintenance work on his soon to debut 2.0. Turns out he did not YouTube the procedure and attempt to do it himself. Good call.
• VG has a new co-worker. Not sure if we are praying gratitude for him or support for her. Why not both?

YHC took us out.
