9 Pax posted in the rain for interval training. Back from a work induced absence, I was back in front of 8 mean, lean running machines eager to start. Rain was not an issue due to the excessive speed of the runs ( a well documented phenomena first documented by NASA during the first supersonic flights). We warmed up with a lap and 30 SSH (I bet one of the youngins thought the old man had zoned out and forgot how to count). We then began: 200 run, 200 walk, 400/200, 800/200, 1600/200, 800/200, 400/200 and 200/200. No one complained, every one ran hard, in the rain until the very last minute. A typical F3 workout. Not having posted a lot lately makes you really appreciate how freaking crazy all these men are to get their butts out of bed in the middle of the night to run sprints in the dark, in the cold and in the rain. It was awesome !
I enjoyed my simple Q immensely and hope to be back soon.
God Bless you all !
Thanks Burlap for you incessant prompts to post. You are a most patient and gallant man.

I liked this workout. The walking allowed the heart rate to come down a good bit so you could run faster. It also allowed me to get lapped by several pax and then un-lap myself while they were in the walking phase…and then get lapped again!
