Oh, how I wanted to make that the title of the backblast, but just couldn’t bring myself to do it.

Beatdown.

THOUGHTS.

  • CP and VG made it through 16 rounds with a bunch of extra exercises (abs, burpees) thrown in while waiting on Zima.
  • The workout was too easy for Cherry Pie.  Even though the Q yelled “stop” many times, Mr. Thanksgiving dessert just kept doing burpees or really whatever he felt like.  I give up.
  • Van Gogh has I.S. on Saturday.

  • Van Gogh wants people to pay him to do 5,000 reps at The Shmed.  OK, maybe not exactly, but a growing number of PAX are pledging between $.10 and $.20 per rep.  Editor’s Note: Do they have to be legit (proper form) reps?

    The world’s longest BB, this is not. But thank you for writing it. It is 100 percent better than all those Qs who failed at completing their Q duties.

    In terms of form for VQ, YHC understands that the IPC form committee rules apply.

      Indeed, YHC intends to strictly adhere to IPC form committee guidelines for the 5000 rep challenge!

    While your BB’s have been better, this beatdown was typical top notch. What it fails to mention is that Zima ran 2 miles in beforehand, and CP spent 5 minutes driving his car erratically all around the Calvary parking lot trying to find us. Always a pleasure to try and keep up with you and Cherry Pie.

    The backblast is short, but the beatdown was NOT! Speaking of size, “long” is a financial term (Greenspan can confirm) and it was used by yhc in reference to Van Gogh’s 5000 rep challenge. Cherry Pie is 100% long (ie: no shorting, hedging or dark pool shenanigans). Hope other pax will join…all for a great cause.

    Back to the beatdown…nothing to see here other than the typical Zima slugfest. It was awful, but great company made it microscopically enjoyable.
