Near-perfect weather for 11 pax at Hanes Park with the wind suddenly reappearing after a two-month absence. If you were there, you know what happened. If not, here’s an insufficient account of what we did.
Warmarama:
Clockwise lap around Hanes Park with pax regrouping at Joymongers.
The Chase, Part 1, Sage Canaday:
Pax divide into two groups for a peloton run up Pilot View. Pick up the six, then mosey back down to the track.
The Chase, Part 2, Jimmy Johnson:
Pax partner up. Partner A moseys 100 meters ahead, yells out a code word, and continues easy mosey. Upon the code word, Partner B sprints to catch Partner A. Once reunited, the partners mosey for another ~100 meters and then flip flop. Continue until 0612.
Coolarama:
One lap mosey around the track.

- Praise for the wonderful weather.
- Praise for the healthy delivery of the H.O.G.’s nephew this past weekend in Ohio.
YHC took us out.
NMM:
- “How will we know when our partner is far enough ahead?” Fair question. Spontaneous creativity among the pax resulted in the use of code words for each pairing. Some that YHC caught were “Mrs. Pumpkins!”, “PALIN!”, and “Viagra!” Zima’s partner just asked him to wheeze a little bit louder.
- There was great excitement among the pax for the Winklevoss/Bevo pairing. Post-workout that Wink’s mosey speed was aggressive.
- Little Piggy arrived as we exited the parking lot for the warmup lap; Bevo, always timely, arrived as we were a good ways down Sunset.
- Valdez appreciated having both a warm-up and a cool down.
- Palin and the H.O.G. played vehicle dodge on Cloverdale on their run in. All kidding aside, wear reflective clothing & lights, and don’t run alone in the dark. Many drivers are not paying a bit of attention or are still waking up.
- Manscape is an incredible HIM. I’m thankful the way he models consistency in posting to redline.
Thanks for the keys Resistor. The keys spun out in turn 3 and are up by the pull up bars. Always a pleasure and honor to Q Redline.
