Absolutely beautiful weather at Bailey Park this morning. A light breeze and the upper 50s. Add to that seven UA regulars all with smiles, pleasant dispositions and a will to take on any challenge and you have the recipe for an amazing beatdown.

THE THANG

PAX moseyed from Bailey Park down Fourth Street and up the stairs to to the Long Branch Trail. Stopped at the short bridge and bear crawled its length. Moseyed to the second bridge and crab walked its length. The PAX now warm we stumbled on a well placed piece of cardboard.

Instructions were given to the PAX to complete the prescribed movements, run to the benches beneath the bridge and complete dips starting with 3 and going up by 3 on every round (3,6,9….). Repeato all the way to round seven and then unwind it until time is called.

1. 20 x Hand Release Merkins and 20 x Viaducts/Aquaducts/Side Crunches/Jane Fondas on each side
2. 20 x Copperhead Squats and 20 x LBCs
3. 20 x Wide Merkins and 20 x Nolan Ryans on each side
4. 20 x Right Staggered Squat and 20 x American Hammers
5. 20 x Diamond Merkins and 20 x Freddie Mercuries
6. 20 x Left Staggered Squat and 20 x Low Flutters
7. 20 x Mike Tysons and 20 x Low Dollies

The PAX dug in and kept pushing until YHC called it a 6:10. The PAX completed 9-10 rounds.

Moseyed back to Bailey Park and stopped for 15 Absolution, 8 count IC.

All PAX put in 100% this morning. Not surprisingly, a group of fastholes emerged but they were never more than one round ahead of the not-so-fastholes.  Lighthearted chatter was consistent all morning as was the constant push from each other. Iron was sharpened this morning and all were better for it.
