Date: 11/28/2020

A few months ago, Foothills announced they would not be releasing BBA Sexual Chocolate this year due to Covid cutbacks… understandable. And so, the tradition was thought to come to an end. Life moves on, and an IS Q was arranged. Then, surprisingly, Foothills announced they would be doing BBA Sexual Chocolate after all! And in a moment of what can best be described as divine intervention, it just so happened to be the same weekend as YHCs IS Q!!! The beatdown changes slightly each year, and this year would be no different thanks to Covid. Here’s how it went:

- YHC have Thanks to those who posted,
- Many of us know people who know people that have committed suicide
- Prayers for our city
- Prayers for recovering PAX from injury.
- Mutton’s shoulder is going to get checked out.
- YHC took us out
NMM
- TClaps to HOG and Palin for getting in some EC running beforehand
- TClaps to Pony Express for keeping his word on his HC after Starfish’s killer Thanksgiving Beatdown.
- Pull Out posting for the second time this week! Hope he is able to keep coming back regularly! He was hoping Starfish would be present to say thanks for the Jack Reachers on Thanksgiving.
- Spicoli arrived early with plenty of time for conversation.
- Palin commented on how silent Drips knee brace sounded… Which made Drip ponder what it usually sounds like!?
- HOG kept requesting burpees… Drip kept responding with a “Shut your mouth” type response with a big smile the whole time so it didn’t seem too harsh.
- Mutton agreed with Drip, he got enough at Fenders beatdown.
- Palin pretended (?) to have never heard of a bomber before. HOG truly had never heard of it, and was confused when I said we were spelling something during Warmorama.
- In a moment of bliss for Pony Express, he looked over to see Mutton modifying an exercise with none other than Mutton Crunches.
- PAX (mainly Palin) were shocked that Sexual Chocolate could be bought in plain old cans now. YHC agreed at first, but prefer it now because if a bomber is enjoyed solo, it’s verrry hard to post next morning.
- Honey Badger was happy to be here this morning and YHC was glad to see him! He really worked through the beatdown until near crawling on the slick side of the practice court floor during the IBU round. So… future reference: All you need is a ridiculously slippery surface to slow him guy down! He even said it was hard himself! (Day made.)
- Along the way, Toot Canal kept saying “ohhh no! Not that!” Recalling past Sexual Chocolate beatdowns. He made 6 of 7, and is definitely in it for the beer afterward.
- The IBU round got us all. The stated goal was to make the PAX bitter… and the varied Rounds did the trick. While HOG and most PAX disliked the burpees most, Palin the Mike Tysons, and YHC the Mountain Climbers. HOG made it easier with tiny baby bear Crawl steps. Smart.
- SRM was a heavy modification due to social distancing. Rather than line up into a train with PAX Lunge walking to the front, we spread out and stayed put. The end result was less fun, but just as torturous on the legs. Pony Express even added some Squat jumps back to show off!
- 2nd F at Footnote was a blast. Coffee, Beer, and Biscuits were enjoyed! Cheesesteak joined us with his awesome pup. PAX discussed a variety of topics, including Kombucha, the Iron Throne, and Slack tutorials. Word came about that some Twitter diehards missed the Nantan’s call to make the Slack move official for internal IC (because Twitter is great…), so @Spam if you are reading this, can you remind PAX about the call to migrate?
Thanks so much to everyone who posted, for both the 1st and 2nd. I appreciated the time and conversation today. Those coffeeteria beverages were well deserved! Thanks for the leadership Drip, the keys are at Footnote! See y’all for the next release in 2021…

Always the highlight of my week being with you all. Van Gogh is as great a leader as we have and an honor to survive his beatdown.
