Plunger, Parkay, Lemming, Bulldog, Argyle, Bam, Starfish, Greenacres, Nitro, Undertoe, Spamalot, D-day, Splash, Burlap

15 Pax including the Q with two visitors who live in Winston but post elsewhere (Plunger and Nitro).

Warma Rama:

Side straddle hops x15, Toy soldiers x 7 ( I called them Tin Soldiers and pulled a Zima count) won’t see these again in my Q, Michael Phelps on your own, very slow Abe Vagoda x 4 into Whirly with a clap x 10, the worst Yoga stretches led by the Q (trying to help Bam and his aching back), standing Quad stretches, standing Hamstring stretches, standing Crossed leg stretches.

Moseyed to the hill for some backward running up the hill with a Burpee at the top then down the hill forward with a Burpee at the bottom. Q had to Omaha the original goal of 10 reps up and down to the reps down to 5 reps. It was a lot harder than I planned in my mind.   Each time you reached the top of the hill you matched the rep count to the burpee count (2 reps, 2 burpees).  Those that completed the hill went straight into defensive back drills to help keep social distancing and the heart rate up. Once that was completed, you went straight into parking space Merkins x 5 sets all regular merkins except the last set was hand release merkins. Once complete we moseyed to the Lido deck where we got to sit for a brief moment so that we could perform single leg get-ups x 7 each leg followed by single leg step-ups x 10 each leg, followed by single leg step downs x 10 each leg, then erkins x 10, dips in cadence x 10 and last but certainly not least box jumps x 10. This lead us to another mosey up to the grassy hill where the Pax bear crawled up the hill since it looked wet and I didn’t want our visitors thinking I didn’t look out for their safety. Once up the hill the mosey continued to the Rock Pile.  A medium to heavy sized rock was procured and the beat down continued socially distanced of course. 21 gun salutes started our rock work which was performed on your own followed by over-head press in cadence x 10, then  bent-0ver rows x 15 in cadence, skull crushers x 10 in cadence.  We shook our arms out between sets a couple of times, because the Q need to, the rock I picked was a lot heavier than it looked.  We repeatoed the rock work then John Cusack the rocks, taking the long was around, to the rock pile depositing the rocks back.  Since we don’t normally do this and I don’t like my feet wet, we moseyed back to the Lido deck for more dry land work. Another round of single leg get ups x 7 each leg, side step-ups x 10 each leg, box jumps x 10 each leg, squats x 10.  We left the comforts of the Lido deck to the far end of the parking lot looking up the hill to head back for some Mary.  To keep social distancing we stagger started 3-5 Pax  for a jail break up the hill.

Mary:

Mary by committee was performed due to Nitro wanting to lead us in Box Cutters, which lead me to call out various Pax to lead in their choice of Mary.

Announcements:

Prayers:

Prayers for the country since we have passed 13 million COVID cases, on the Homeless front with COVID there are a bunch of people living out in tents and many agencies are working to confront bad weather plans with limited help from the city. Juice Box’s daughter, Claire in your prayers.

In the end, I was honored to lead a strong group of men and am thankful for the opportunity to do so.
