Beastly Plyometrics

PAX: Little Piggy, Huckleberry, the H.O.G., Tweety Bird, Wobegon, Splash, High Cotton, Root Canal, Drip
As the pax exited our vehicles, murmurs of “cold” and “wish I’d stayed in bed” were overheard; YHC guaranteed that no one would be cold in five minutes, but no guarantee was given regarding the bed.

Announcements:
- Post Hole has IS on Saturday at Hanes Park.
- The Estate and the Outhouse are getting back together in January at the new Iron Throne AO. Location is Sherwood Elementary. First beatdown will be led by YHC on 1/4/21. Tigger is the site-Q. Reach out to him to get in on the game early.
Prayer Requests:
- Praise that Wobegon has accepted a new job! Prayers that he would finish strong at his current job.
- Zima’s recovery.
- $5 Footlong.
- Prayers for people to be wise and safe with the surge of Covid cases.
YHC took us out with these and a petition for us to be peacemakers during the holidays.
NMM:
- Took YHC until the drive home from SC last night to figure out what to do today. Knew that we wanted to do some plyometrics and didn’t want to run up a hill to nowhere. YHC had used The Beast at the 4th of July convergence in 2019 (wow!), so figured that the statute of limitations had expired.
- Splash arrived with, “Who’s Qing? At least it’s not Huck.”
- Great to see Tweety Bird out! Kotters!
- Little Piggy appeared to run the course in reverse a couple of times. Not sure what that was about or whether YHC imagined it.
- Someone may have snapped one of the rails separating the parking lot from the play set. By accident.
- Wobegon pushed hard with his normal quiet demeanor.
- Huck and Drip spent the day being the super-nice, supportive guys that they are every day except the days they Q.
- The H.O.G. was in the lead most of the day….until we realized High Cotton had lapped us all. The rest of us stayed tightly bunched up (but not that tightly! We socially distanced!).
- Toot’s new wheels are silent, which led to the completely immature conversation that you would imagine and hope for.
Thank you, Turnover, for the keys to Mayhem. It’s a heavy burden to live up to the insanity others bring, but it’s always a trip. The keys got caught in the basketball nets. Get to jumping.
