Officially named November 3rd, 2014, The Estate AKA Destroyathon was the first Monday workout. Numbers were once huge for this mighty AO, with the top 5 attended workouts on the following dates:

YHC wanted to end* with a bang, something that lived up to the Destroyathon moniker. In doing so, we paid tribute to some of YHCs past Qs, while factoring in that infamous 36 top count.
*Note, YHC thinks The Estate will return once Covid passes and numbers get back up. So this isn’t a “Goodbye,” but a “See you later”!

- Thank you so much for attending today, Men! 1.5 miles covered, 72 burpees, 204 monkey humpers w/150 yards of lunge walking, and 48 Merkins in between 150+ yards of bear crawls.
The Estate was one of my first “regular” AOs in my first months of F3 because it’s next to where YHC works. - Over its 321 weeks since inception, The Estate has had some killer beatdowns, including Cobra’s now infamous Grim Reaper, the finale for Resistor’s Extreme Run’N’ Gun 25K, and spinning off the Outhouse – home of The Pheonix.
- YHC wanted to end with a bang, a sufferfest worthy of the name “Destroyathon” and judging by the lack of MC from BAM, I think it was a success. BAM showed up just after 0530 so he missed the reason for 36, but I’m glad he made it! That made two weeks in a row seeing him at The Estate…
- And if that wasn’t indicator enough, there may have been some Merlot spillage at the end as well.
- YHC first came up with the “Bearskin Crawl” (formerly called Bearkin Crawl, but come on, it’s so obvious now!) on 10/01/2018 and have regularly used it in my Qs ever since. Turnover was thankful the Acorns were not present this time.
- Root Canal (who was killing it) has even used them before in his Qs, if that’s not the ultimate compliment, then I don’t know what is!
- YHC only recalls seeing High Cotton at Mayhem, so it was great to see him partake in the Estate, and crushing it!
- Zima is coming back strong as ever from his knee surgery, and staying wise, modifying as necessary. He only critique YHCs form and sanity twice each!
- Turnover was having slight PTSD since this was his third experience with Bearskin Crawling at The Estate. YHC picked on him some with the word “recovery” during our Burpees as well… #TClaps for not killing the workout and not YHC after CoT!
- Razzie clown carred in with Snooki. Snooki admitted that he gets all his F3 news and happenings from Razzie. So we all owe Razzie a bit of gratitude for bringing Snooki and making us look good.
- Snooki later admitted that his church used Slack, so mayyyybe there is hope for him to be tied in after all!!?
- The Duece agreed to post with YHC and has been kicking ass lately, posting on time and also offering running options to PAX.
- Speaking of running, Duece and YHC picked up Green Acres who wanted to do his normal Outhouse EC run. So he ran to Speas and we picked him up. I say this all the time, but #Respect!!
Always a pleasure to post in the Gloom and lead such fine men. This one was extra special for YHC, and I’m now looking forward to making new memories at The Iron Throne! As for memories at The Estate… many PAX seem sad to see it go, understandably so. But the numbers don’t lie, and Covid definitely took a huge dent out of our Monday attendance. YHC would like to challenge the PAX over 2021 to step up our EH game to the point where we can bring it back… like I said before: it’s not a “Goodbye,” but a “See you later”!
