The temperature was 36 degrees. The skies were clear. 7 PAX gathered at Hanes Park to hit their Redlines!
Why do I usually avoid the track? Is it because I am like Derek Zoolander and “Can’t Turn Left.” Or do I have two left feet like Eugene Levy in Best in Show.
Oh Eugene Levy. Got to love that guy. Before Schitt’s Creek he made a lot of great comedy with Christopher Guest. Which was your favorite movie? Best in Show? A Mighty Wind? Waiting for Guffman? Or are you more of a American Pie type of guy? Wow Eugene Levy has a long IMDB.
Let me get back to the backblast. We warmed up with SSH and IST in cadence. Then we ran half way around the park. With cold temperatures I wanted to make sure everybody had time to warm up their muscles. We offroaded behind the RJR gym to the track. On the track we did one more lap of dynamic stretching or calisthenics including High Knees, Butt Kickers, Apollo Creed and Skips.
The Thang:

Prayed for those dealing with medical challenges that need healing. Plungers co-workers father WG, Balco’s M’s father’s heart, Resistor’s daughter and Juice Box’s daughter. God share your healing hand with them and others that are hurting now.

I pulled in at 5:28 trying my best to replicate Winklevoss’s performance from last week. Good news is that I was aware of my Q responsibility and had a plan.

I think I saw Resistor logging additional miles post Redline. Strong work sir!
Manscape was running his mouth as per usual.
YHC wasn’t offended as Balco chose to completely disregard the Q’s plans and just ran in circles at whatever pace he wanted.
Palin and Plunger were leading the pack with fast speeds.
YHC hadn’t seen Whirly in a while and it was great to see him burning up the track.
By the end I think I figured out how to turn left. Thanks for the chance to Q Resistor!
