YHC is partaking in the 2021 challenge put out there by Burns, courtesy of a thought put in his head by F3 Hickory. As a result, all recent beatdowns that YHC has attended have been brutal… and also as a result, might as well to those 4 exercises into my own Beatdown, right!? The number 27 was chosen for today, because just plain old 7 didn’t seem enough. YHC excitedly returned from the EC run with Wobegon and Palin, and got straight into the bear crawling…

  • Grab a big rock

    • Squat Curl Press x 17 OYO
    • Bent Over Rows x 17 OYO
    • Two-sided Chest Press x 17 OYO
  • 1st set, do 17 Merkins after each exercise (51 total)
  • 2nd set, do 17 Squats after each exercise (51 total)
  • 3rd set, do 17 burpees after each exercise (making 84 total)
• Return rocks

CoT

• Prayers for our country
• YHC took us out giving thanks for the means, ability, and desire to post. Also asking that our country be a beacon of hope, and role model for the worldwide again.

NMM

• TClaps to Wobegon for leading YHC and Palin on an EC 2 miler. He’s been running this route for some time every week now, glad I was able to join him this time!
• On the run Palin received and an necessarily loud honk from a Lexus driving by… he is so good at making friends!
• During warmorama YHC decided not to put the PAX through any “Shoulder Mess” – Cherry Pie would have been happy!
• $5 helped YHC out with the 4th core principle during Warmorama… #HIM 
• The PAX were eerily quiet during the Bear crawls… leaving YHC to be the instigator of MC that Palin is normally in.
• Zima called YHC out for making my own MC, but really the PAX should have seen the bear crawls coming at a non-running AO by now!
• I blamed Huck for the burpees because he set such a high bar on Tuesday at Flatline.
• Ziggy, Huck, YHC, and Palin all made mention of our tailbones at one point, Argyle said we simply lacked the right padding while laughing at us. 
• Zima was doing WWIIs at double speed for Mary.
• Great to see RB for the second time this week! Palin complimented his flowing white locks, by saying it looked like a woman’s hair from behind……. 
• RB called me out on offering up his rock to The Duece the other week in Slack… busted! He now going to take his rock home and engrave or paint a heart with “RB” inside of it! Just to further reinforce it’s his.
• Evidently YHC had 1.5M long arms? This comment from Palin, or one other soon thereafter   then led to a lengthy discussion between the use of Imperial units, when woul they be called US units, conversion rations to Metric units, etc. It took YHC a minute to understand the importance of this to Five Dollar FOOTLONG. 
• Green Acres attempted to make YHC cry tears of joy by bear crawling from the 4th to 3rd island… Zima called him out and said there was no way he was 65. It was too cold to cry though…
• Organ Grinder made YHC literally laugh out loud when he commented on Slack saying “I can’t really move, so great Beatdown!” Thanks OF, Strong work today!

I appreciate everyone posting today, hopefully you enjoyed the pain as much as I did!   Thanks for the keys, Boomerang! The keys will be safely stored under RBs rock upon your return from Miami!
