Hovering around 24 degrees with a brisk wind the PAX timidly began to exit their warm cars at 5:25 AM. There was an FNG -Brandon who posted completely solo this morning with no EH……..reminds me of another PAX I know. More on that later. We all exchanged pleasantries and got after it at 5:30. The mission statement and the five core principals recited….here we go.

Started with Pullups x 10, run and  Merkin/Burpee x 1. Every lap decrease pullups by 1 and increase merkins/burpees by 1

If you are keeping count that is (55) pullups, (55) Merkins and (55) Burpees

We moseyed to the benches at the Long Branch bridge for some rounds of Howlin` Monkey Pounder Docks. Pax circle up

If you see Cheesesteak give him a congratulations for being the Urban Assault Site Q for the last two+ years. Strong. Or you can just go about your beatdown while he contorts himself into strange shapes. Somehow the work he is putting in is equally hard but he isn`t breathing hard like you. Strong

Basher (Former FNG Brandon) posted with no EH. He sought out F3 on his own and messaged Snake Eyes on twitter (Maybe the only reason to actually keep a twitter account). Let me tell you that this guy has some grit. The beatdown may have read simple but the effort was real. Real hard. Basher pushed the whole way and never stopped. I expect to see this guy in the gloom more and more.

Red Pill put out a maximum effort this morning. Another PAX that just doesn`t quit.

Drip was full bore this morning as usual. To no surprise, he breezed through the merkins. I may have seen him hesitate on the last round of burpees but it could not have been more than a second. The warrior kicked in and he grinded to the finish.

Van Gogh was out in front from the get go and then the he dropped back and pushed all of us. He is a true HIM.

Root Canal was running at 110% this morning. I hope that when people call me War Daddy I can still put on a show like him. It is always amazing to watch him go. You can always count on him for words of inspiration.

Fun fact is that YHC first posted on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Urban Assault. I had heard of F3 but only a knew one guy who, “tried that one time.” I went to the website and researched and decided that I was just going to show up. So I did. The first PAX I met was Greenspan. He must have been early and was stretching out. Burlap was the Q and put on a good one, YHC has repeated it. Van Gogh did extra merkins just to wait on me to struggle through. Zima reminded everybody that this you vs. you. Bevo moved faster than any grown human I knew. Cheesesteak is the PAX that came with my F3 name. It is humbling to takeover the Site Q responsibilities a few years later.  I don`t have the opportunity to post as much as I would like but I look forward to every opportunity that I am able. Thanks for being there fellas.
