YHC needs a new Weather app.  Any recommendations?

When the Weather app calls for ice/snow/freezing rain/wintry mix/sleet/etc, lots of questions came up for the Q at Run-N-Gun.

• Will the workout need to be cancelled?
• Should i create an ironic playlist of songs about summertime?  (I did)
• Is there a shelter at MMP that we can Gun under? (There isn’t)
• Can I at least find a dry place to put my speaker and phone?
• If nobody else shows up, can i just go home? (I would have)
• Can I do a full set of Gun exercises from a standing position to avoid laying down in a puddle? (Couldn’t have been worse than what we did otherwise)

Turns out the weather was cold, and the parking lot was damp, but there was no precipitation, ice patches, or  puddles to contend with.  So, a lucky PAX of 13 converged on MMP to run, and also to gun.

Run: Peacehaven, L on Robinhood, R on Polo, R on Peacehaven, L on Whitaker Ridge, R on Robinhood, and then a bunch more turns onto streets taht I can’t remember the name of.

Gun: Tabata 20 on/10 off, alternating two exercises, doing 4 sets of each.

• Merkins/LBCs
• Mountain Climbers/H2H
• Plank Jax/Low Flutter
• Peter Parker/Parker Peter

NMM:

• Mongoose was on a man on a mission today, absolutely flying.  Money, it’s gotta be the shoes!!
• A few concerns were raised about so much running on Robinhood Road, but all PAX arrived back safely
• HOG and Greenspan got in 3 mile EC before the official launch – training for the Fellowship of the Idiots run. (That’s really what it’s called, not trying to hate on those guys and the 8 other pax running.)
• My speakers worked!  And anyone from BnW will let you know that’s a small miracle.
• Burlap is creating quite a buzz for WIB this Thursday at Great Clips.  Lots of questions/comments there…
